Professional code of conduct

ISPON’s published code expects members to uphold the profession’s reputation and act in the public interest.

• Use professional knowledge responsibly in employment, consultancy and teaching.
• Avoid improper influence or payments intended to secure an engagement.
• Do not exploit a salaried role to compete unfairly.
• Respect the professional arrangements of other practitioners.
• Do not make false or malicious attacks on another professional’s reputation.
